Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a market leading medical devices organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Territory Manager within the Orthopaedics market. This exciting role will be working across the North of England. In this role you will be responsible for your own territory and will work with Orthopaedic Consultants, Nurses and Theatre staff.

We are currently recruiting for a market leading medical devices organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Territory Manager within the Orthopaedics market. This exciting role will be working across the North of England. In this role you will be responsible for your own territory and will work with Orthopaedic Consultants, Nurses and Theatre staff.

Essential Requirements: 
Existing and proven relationship with Orthopaedic Consultants, Nurses and Theatre Managers
Strong knowledge of existing solutions on the market – ability to compare benefits and disadvantages of each one, keep up to date on products
Self-starter, highly energetic and motivated, willing to take the company forward
Proven track record of sales
Experience working within Secondary Care.
A proven track record in commercialising products. 
Ability to take an account management approach to managing territory business.
Ability to manage the demands of a portfolio of products
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Promotes existing company products to Orthopaedics and other surgical Consultants, Ancillary Staff, Theatre Managers, Sisters and Nurses, Supplies and Finance, (including procurement) departments.
Negotiates and sells existing and new company products to appropriate decision makers
Instigates own appointments with existing and new customers and takes every opportunity to exploit new business potential
Demonstrates product portfolio to appropriate users in line with company agreed standards
Delivers product training to customers when requested, both in theatre and training room environments
Gathers all information required to set up new customers and communicates information to appropriate company departments, these to include, but are not limited to, customer service and finance
Communicates to a high standard and works closely with customer service and distribution departments to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and with correct order numbers 
Maintains a good understanding of competitor product range and activity, communicating any changes to the Sales Director
Forecasts annual and on-going sales predictions by product and account in agreed format to Sales and Marketing Director to coincide with company financial year forecasts
Work to agreed annual sales target, to be agreed with the Sales Director
Submits monthly reports to Sales Director, regarding training requirements for surgeons and ancillary staff, account updates, product updates and sales forecasts
Works to build solid relationships with both internal and external interfaces to enable all transactions to be dealt with proactively. If requested, attends and represents the Company at sales focused events, seminars and exhibitions
Works effectively with all business systems, including computers, database and excel spreadsheets
Assesses own development opportunities and creates development plans to improve personal performance
Works with Human Resource Department to train and support new team members
Undertakes all tasks requested by the Sales Director
