We specialise in pain management and are looking for an enthusiastic MSL for the North East of England. Can you demonstrate your ability to build excellent relationships, communication skills and compliance in accordance with the ABPI?
You will be able to demonstrate you can;
Respond to requests for information about on-and off-label uses of Grünenthal products
Report on Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) to GRT regulatory staff
Cultivate relationships with high profile key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the field of pain management
Introduce and build new product awareness
Maintain knowledge (including the ABPI Code) by attending relevant courses/conferences
Feedback on competitor activities of relevance (“competitive intelligence)
Assist in the training of GRT staff in relevant therapy areas and procedures
Facilitate formulary submissions
Facilitate service evaluations and clinical trials
Participate in speaker training
Act in compliance within the overall company quality principles, values, and applicable policies of the GRT Group including written procedures, e.g. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the ABPI Code. You will ensure confidentiality regarding information relating to individuals, clients and company plans is upheld at all times
Whilst you will be covering the South West of England occasionally you will be required to be flexible on your location and travel throughout the UK to support your colleagues, attend the Head Office in Stokenchurch and some European travel may be required from time to time.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills;
A relevant scientific/medical university degree/qualification and post graduate qualification(s)
Understanding of pain physiology
Full UK driving licence
Fluent knowledge of English (spoken and written) and good report writing skills
Experience of UK medical practice, including NHS structure and patient pathways
Knowledge of the UK medical Political issues
Appropriate Information Technology (“computer”) skills and working knowledge/experience of standard software tools
Excellent communication skills, including presentations to healthcare professionals
Flexible, independent, and proactive working style
Self starter and able to work in a team
Attention to detail
