PPD recognizes its employees as the key to its success, and we strive to make PPD an energising and fulfilling experience, where individuals can make a difference.   As a member of our EMEA Talent Acquisition Team, your duties will encompass the full recruitment lifecycle from internal hiring manager engagement, creative sourcing strategy development and competency based interview delivery through to on boarding of new colleagues.

You will be sourcing, recruiting, and referring best-qualified candidates for both high volume vacant positions as well as senior level and niche vacancies, in an efficient and fiscally responsible manner and will need to remain abreast of industry trends. You will organise and facilitate the entire recruiting function demonstrating extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedures as well as relevant laws regarding employment practices and you will additionally need to be able to build strong relationships with internal and external clients.

Qualifications


Education and Experience: ·         Relevant in house recruitment experience 
·         Experience recruiting in the Clinical//CRO/Pharma/Biotech industry   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ·         Prior experience of direct sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing ·         Experience of using Social Media recruitment tools ·         Knowledge of CRO industry with a general ability to assess candidates' fit within the industry ·         Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills ·         Flexibility to travel ·         Good English language and grammar skills ·         Ability to work independently as well as part of a team ·         Strong customer focus, with the ability to work with all levels of management ·         Demonstrated ability to apply rational thought process, judgment, and a corporate perspective when focusing staffing and selections strategies on business issues ·         Must be able to multi task and pay close attention to detail ·         Self motivated/Positive attitude   This role is a fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave and will be office based in our Cambridgeshire office
