Strategic Account Manager opportunity with a leading pharmaceutical company’s pain division – North East

This exciting Strategic Account Manager role offers you the unique opportunity to expand your skills and experience with existing product as well as new products, currently sold overseas, which will be brought over to the UK in the New Year; you’ll also receive a package with competitive bonus scheme, car allowance and benefits package.



The Strategic Account Manager’s key responsibilities include:

* Work with marketing, commercial and medical affairs to develop tactical plans that deliver market access, ensuring that your colleagues are clear and on board
* Develop initiatives to optimise access to company products and remove barriers in a wide range of business aspects
* Work with the strategic account managing team to ensure they have materials and value propositions that are aligned with sales and marketing teams
* Build influential and productive networks with payers, decision makes and influencers across the NHS at national and regional levels
* Work to provide market access strategies for developed nations
* Managing the market access strategy department budget

Candidates will have/be:

* Proof of previous management experience , ideally in a market access role

* An established network of decision makers within the UK NHS

* Proof of communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills

* Experience in approval of materials and use of ZINC is desirable but not necessary

* Appropriate information technology skills
