We are currently recruiting for a market leading Medical Devices organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Healthcare Development Manager within the Ostomy & Continence Care market. This exciting role will be working across the East Mids and the East of England. Responsible for creating shared value via program initiation/fulfilment in a defined group of accounts throughout the assigned territory.

Responsible for creating shared value via program initiation/fulfilment in a defined group of accounts throughout the assigned territory. Partners with the organisation to define the appropriate resources and collateral for success in specific accounts.
Degree or equivalent qualification
Strong understanding of the NHS landscape policy and how it affects local delivery of healthcare.
Full understanding of the market dynamics in the country (reimbursement / competitors / customer group levels / government)
Demonstrable Key Account Management Experience
Excellent negotiating skills
Project Management skills, including the ability to implement, monitor and review projects
Demonstrated ability to analyse and assimilate data
Record of successfully developing key opinion leaders
Exceptional business planning skills
Strong ability to build relationships internally and externally
High standard of oral and written communication, including well developed presentation skills
Ability to demonstrate strong product and clinical knowledge
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Develop, implement and agree robust regional account plans in line with strategic business plan developed in conjunction with Regional Business Leader to grow and exceed sales targets
Identify key stakeholders influential in developing policy, guidelines, clinical and health economic advice for clinicians, in line with commercial objectives
Ensure an optimum environment for the prescribing of products ensuring patients have appropriate access to products and services. This includes formulary inclusion and uptake in both Primary and Secondary Care and ensuring agreed funding flows are in place
Sell products, services and IT solutions into the NHS at Commissioning, Procurement, and Director/Senior Management level.
To identify opportunities for business growth e.g. new projects or added value services that would grow market or secure commitment to products.
Tailor brand propositions to support the development of customer-focused solutions.
Ensure that NHS, product & market knowledge is kept up to date
Develop and maintain exceptional understanding of national/local policy with ability to influence and shape local total health economy
Provides feedback and requests to Marketing or to the organisation to adapt tools and strategies to the market demand.
Effectively implement sales direction and strategic business development within selected accounts
Communicates and aligns with locally appropriate sales teams championing the Customer Business Unit model, as well as ensuring strong HQ communication and alignment with internal Customers, in particular Customer Care and Marketing
Understands and utilises consultative sales model.
Ensure provision of accurate and regular reports to capture progress in prioritised accounts
Ensure that CRM system is updated in accordance with company standards
