Global Medical Affairs Physician A vital role in the development of the UK arm of a well-established privately owned pharmaceutical company specializing in hormones; this role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for healthcare progress linked to sound business practices involving healthcare professionals, patients and the NHS.

A vital role in the development of the UK arm of a well-established privately owned pharmaceutical company specializing in hormones; this role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for healthcare progress linked to sound business practices involving healthcare professionals, patients and the NHS. You would also have key input into the Global side of the business and be involved with strategic decision making and international projects.

Key Responsibilities:
-Provide medical and scientific advice to support commercial goals locally and influence Medical / marketing globally.
-Be able to work effectively with all relevant functions to deliver innovative and workable medical/marketing programs.
-Knowledge of the ABPI Code has enabled implementation of novel marketing strategies and tactics to deliver success as measured by customers and the company.
-Review more complex items (e.g. highly referenced documents such as sales aid, presentation slide set, formulary packs) within 72 hrs.
-Ensure compliance with the spirit and letter of the codes governing interaction with healthcare professionals and the public
-Work with the regulatory team to jointly guide product license progression to maximize the opportunities that exist within our products

Location: Central London

The Candidate:
- Medical Degree.
- GMC registration with a license to practice.
- Clinical or industry background in a relevant therapy area preferably Womens/ Mens Health or Endocrinology.
- Experience within Medical Affairs at UK, regional or global level. Minimum of 3 years pharmaceutical experience required
- Strong presentation, communication and team work skills.

Salary
The successful candidate will be awarded a generous annual base salary, annual bonus, company car allowance, company pension and healthcare insurance.
