We’re looking for a talented and energetic Staff Attorney to join our team in the UK to be based in either the Wokingham office or from your home office! 

The Staff Attorney is responsible for reviewing, negotiating and drafting contracts for vendors, investigators, and clients. Assistance in management of the contracting process and maintenance of contracts templates is part of the job.  The Staff Attorney will also provide legal assistance and support to Vice President in general corporate legal issues, including global data protection and other policy initiatives.

You will be accountable for:

  • Managing the documentation of contracts from creation to completion to ensure legally and business acceptable contract management
  • Maintaining current data on contracts processes and status
  • Addressing any contractual deficiencies per Premier’s procedures
  • Creating and maintaining contract templates; participates in reviews and enhancement of templates
  • Drafting contracts and completes contract review to minimize company liability
  • Ensuring compliance with Premier’s Business Rules, especially with respect to approval and signature of all contracts
  • Liaising with all functional groups as necessary to secure contract approvals
  • Maintaining alternate language for non-standard corporate contract documents
  • May participates in client presentations and/or bid defense meetings, as required 

You'll need this be considered: 

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university or its international equivalent or equivalent experience required
  • Law degree from an accredited law school and bar membership in at least one jurisdiction.
  • Proficiency with SalesForce, MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Work experience in law firm or as in-house counsel
  • Experience in CRO, pharmaceutical or other relevant area preferred
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English; fluent in host country language
  • Understanding of outsourcing business models
  • Knowledge of ICH / GCP regulations
  • Working knowledge of FDA Guidance Documents / EU Directives / ISO14155 regulations, drug / device development, and clinical monitoring procedures
  • Knowledge of global privacy and data protection laws and regulations
