Roche is a global leader in pharmaceutical research and in order to uphold our high standards and commitment to delivery in respect to drug safety, we are looking for an experienced Pharmacovigilance professional to join our team.

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert on the ICSR process, assisting in identifying process enhancements, and partnering with Process Development plus Safety Operations colleagues in implementing process or system changes.  The position may partner and support Quality Excellence personnel in reviewing trends in ICSR compliance and quality and identifying appropriate actions, and may assist Safety Operations personnel in managing CAPAs/deviations.

Your main accountabilities include:

• (Co-)leading process implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement

• Responsible for development and maintenance of business process documentation

• Partnering with key stakeholders in investigating, tracking and delivering Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) plans and deviations

• Reviewing and identifying trends in compliance or quality requiring corrective/preventive actions

• Support PDSO Inspection Readiness, by ensuring that PDSO has trained staff able to represent Roche/PDS in audit and inspection activities

• Oversight of the PDSO training process

• Impact assessment of new/revised regulations impacting operational activities

Qualifications and Skills:
• You are a health care professional or hold a life science degree in a related subject
• You have experience in Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance
• You will combine a good knowledge of global regulatory obligations with the ability to evaluate, analyse and interpret data, exercising sound judgement to draw conclusions
• With a positive approach to assigned tasks and proven abilities in managing objectives to an effective conclusion, you can also demonstrate creative problem solving in a complex process-focused environment 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will need to build strong sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders across cultures and virtual environments
