We are recruiting for a CDM Manager to join our growing Biometrics team based here in Welwyn Garden City. This permanent position provides a great opportunity to manage, develop and enable members of Clinical Data Management team to maximally contribute and perform toward assigned Studies, Programs and Initiatives.
To contribute to the global Clinical Data Management strategy and ensure local implementation.
As CDM Manager you will have line management responsibilities in order to deliver high quality projects and to provide continuity of line management to direct reports who are employed on a project basis, liaising with study and project management as necessary.
You will oversee global standards for Clinical Data Management and implement locally in a manner that creates consistency, efficiency and high standards of compliance. This includes ensuring projects are compliant with Company SOPs, Processes and Standards and systems are kept updated with working practices being implemented thoroughly and effectively at site.
You will work collaboratively with the Site Head of Clinical Data Management and the CDM Management team to ensure that all systems used in Clinical Data Management are developed and implemented effectively at the site and you will contribute to the development of the Clinical Data Management global functional strategy and objectives.

Who you are:
You will be educated to a degree level with proven Clinical Data Management experience. You will have proven cross global functional expertise with strong leadership experience, either managing a small group of employees or in leading projects.
You will be comfortable managing the performance of direct reports in order to maximize their contribution, in giving feedback and in coaching and comfortable working in a matrix organization.
Due to the nature of this role strong development orientation skills are necessary along with a flexible, ‘can do’ approach and a desire to reach the end result successfully.
