Main responsibilities

As a Patient Services Manager you will provide training and leadership to other patient services personnel in support of the centre objectives and targets data in compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also provide resourcing projections to the centre manager, head of UK data services and the director of UK operations

Your key accountabilities will be:

  • Managing petty cash
  • Managing the patient services staff by setting goals and objectives and measuring performance through the Synexus performance management toolkit and training on systems
  • Providing resource and capacity planning to the centre manager to ensure all business requirements are deliverable through available resources and plans as required
  • Managing of the diary management system for the centre
  • Working with relevant departments to provide accurate forecasting
  • Driving compliance with Synexus and sponsor quality objectives ensuring effective and efficient best practice processes, procedures and documentation to aid delivery and meet customer requirements
  • Ensuring excellent customer service as per UK operational SLAs
  • Ensuring compliance with company quality framework, regulatory (GCP) legislation, guidelines and international standards
  • Ensuring patient facilities are operational and user friendly reporting issues to the centre manager
Ideal candidate

As a successful Patient Services Manager, you will likely have:

  • Extensive relevant work experience with increasing responsibility in the daily management of research clinics
  • Demonstrable time management skills and ability to adhere to project productivity metrics and time lines
  • Knowledge of the clinical trial process, clinical operations, biometrics, quality management, and systems applications to support operations
  • Working knowledge of the relationship and regulatory obligation of the industry
  • Line management experience
  • The ability to analyse data, run reports and provide accurate data
  • Appropriate MS Office skills
  • Experience in quality assurance and audit experience
