JOB TITLE: Freelance Scientific Liaison

One of my core clients, a top international biotech, are looking for an experienced Scientific Liaison to join on a 12 month contract. They are keen to hear from applicants who share their belief that patients come first and that the potential to cure diseases comes from unlocking the secrets of our own biology.

You will need to live in Scotland, or be willing and able to relocate there at short notice: this is a region specific position which means that living locally is a key requirement.

You will also need significant experience in the cardiovascular field. We are looking for someone with solid therapeutic area knowledge who can hit the ground running and contribute to redefining how we treat heart conditions on a global scale.

Finally, you will need an already established network of Key Opinion Leaders and Healthcare Professionals local to the territory. If Scottish KOL networks are missing from your professional circle, then proven success in identifying, building and developing strong relationships with KOLs and HCPs is an essential prerequisite.

It’s a high visibility position, so your communication, presentation and information dispensing abilities should be of an exceptionally high standard and you’ll not only understand how important travelling to centres and face to face interaction is; you’ll revel in it.

It is a full time position but, if that doesn’t work for you, working three or four days a week will also be considered.

To be considered, you’ll need to have recent experience in an equivalent position, a degree in life sciences and be ABPI compliant. In return, the company offer a 12 month contract (minimum) and a healthy hourly rate, as well as the chance to work autonomously alongside some great people.

TO APPLY:

Please call Tom Filby on +44(0)2031 892296 or email tfilby@i-pharmconsulting.com.

If this role is not quite suitable, but you would be interested in similar opportunities; if you feel like you know someone who could be perfect for this role; or if you are interested in enlisting specialist hiring assistance for positions like this: Tom is also available to discuss options and talk through the market in general.
