Job Summary:

We are recruiting a Training Manager to be based in our Head Office, this is a great opportunity for you to have an impact and make a difference in training and developing our team.

Requirements:

Purpose:

To deliver the training strategy in the UK to ensure the Company achieves its overall objectives. To create a competent, confident, professional workforce, by developing the knowledge and communication skills of our personnel, enabling an increase in their personal and professional effectiveness in the role they do.
 

Main Responsibilities

  • Input in to the development and implementation of the annual Training plan
  • Design and deliver training to achieve Company objectives, in collaboration with the Head of Commercial Training – not limited to the sales team
  • Deliver comprehensive product and disease area training and selling skills training programmes, using a variety of delivery methods and collaborating with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure alignment across the business. This training includes
  • Initial training course for new employees
  • Ongoing training for existing employees to meet training needs identified through collaboration with training, marketing and sales colleagues
  • Ensure all training materials are fit for purpose and adhere to our SOPs, policies and ABPI requirements
  • Ensure all learning is achieved within budget
  • Facilitate workshops and coach new and existing employees
  • Be responsible for managing additional training projects as directed by the Head of Commercial Training
  • Responsible for ensuring  the E-Learning platform and training records are up to date

Experience

  • Coaching certificate advantageous
  • Certificate in Training Practice is ideal
  • Pharmaceutical selling experience
  • Full understanding of the Pharmaceutical industry, including NHS environment and ABPI
  • Proven experience of developing and implementing training programmes
  • Proven communication,  presentation, facilitation  and coaching skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent attention to detail
