The purpose of the Sales Executive role is to build & maintain effective long-term relationships with a defined customer base to maximise growth in sales & profit. This is a sales account management role which serves as the primary interface for all Sandoz’s products & services and creates demand for the organisation’s products and services. The Sales Executive will also provide tactical operational support to the field sales team by co-ordinating across all business functions and will be the key point of contact between head office & field-based associates.
•Leads sales process across defined customer base, while collaborating with other internal stakeholders such as finance, supply chain, marketing
•Specific sales-based accountabilities covering the telephone account management of a number of retail pharmacy chains
•Management of a number of tender-driven accounts in conjunction with the Business Excellence, Supply Chain and Finance teams.
•New business development lead, identifying potential customer segmentation switches
•Working alongside the full retail sales team, provide day to day operational support within the sales process
•Support co-ordination of the sales process across multiple functions, acting as a key point of contact between head office and field based associates in retail sales
•Demonstrate leadership to ensure liaison between internal colleagues, sales teams, customers and suppliers through effective and professional communication
•Monitor/feedback market and competitor activity as required

#LI-P Minimum requirements The ideal candidate will have
•Preferably educated to degree level, but not essential – ideally in pharma/science or a business/sales related discipline
•Would suit a graduate especially if a relevant placement year has been completed or a few years of relevant sales account management experience
•Knowledge of the NHS and Pharma industry is a preference – though not essential
•Strong influencing, collaboration, persuasion & negotiation skills is essential
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - essential
Ideally experience in an office-based sales role
