Requirements:

We have an exciting opportunity for a CRA to join us working exclusively for one of our strategic pharmaceutical partners and be home-based in Barcelona, Spain.  PPD works in collaboration with this partner, so you will be dedicated to the client’s projects and sites, working within their teams, using their systems and processes on behalf of PPD. Note: this position will have limited travel as it is a regional position.   This is a great opportunity for CRAs with minimum 2 to 3 years CRA experience working within the life science sector for pharmaceutical companies, Biotech companies or CROs, who would enjoy the opportunity to work for a CRO dedicated to one client.  That way you benefit from training and development opportunities from both companies.    As the trusted partner of some of the most innovative big pharma and biotech companies; our CRAs have the opportunity to work on challenging projects across a wide range of therapy areas and this position will be focused on Vaccines.  Our vision is to be the global leader in our industry; based on consistent quality and execution, exceptional customer-aligned service and constant innovation.  *LI-MP1

Qualifications

  Responsibilities:
  • You should thrive in project teams and be focused on delivering exemplary levels of customer service. 
  • You will perform and coordinate all aspects of the clinical monitoring process. 
    Requirements:  Education and Experience:
  • Degree in pharmacy, life science or related field
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech or CRO company
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Clinical research experience, ideally with Vaccines and or/Infectious diseases and/or Oncology
  • Independent clinical monitoring experience
  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated understanding of medical/therapeutic area knowledge and medical terminology
  • Excellent understanding and demonstrated application of GCPs and applicable SOPs
  • Management of regulatory and / or IEC questions
  • Development and preparation of the local informed consent form
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with medical personnel
  • Management of the delivery of study supplies
  • Strong customer focus
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Proven flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to work in a team or independently as required
  • Good computer skills: good knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn appropriate software
  • Good English language and grammar skills
  • Good presentation skills
