POSITION SUMMARY

Medpace is a global, full-service Clinical Research Organization (CRO) specializing in a multitude of therapeutic areas. Our headquarters are located in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA and we are active in over 45 countries across the globe. We continue to steadily grow and are looking to add to our team! Our European activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Senior Intern to join our Data Management team. This position will work on a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company’s success. The Graduate Trainee, Programming at Medpace is a crucial component of the clinical trial process. By analysing clinical data, these professionals ensure the accuracy of data that is reported from clinical studies. Our successful Graduate Trainees come from a variety of different data management backgrounds and often have a broad knowledge of medical terminology. If you are detail-oriented, and enjoy a predictable and standardised work environment, this could be the opportunity for you. As new hires, Data Management Interns go through an extensive onboarding and training process, which prepares them to become experts in their field.

DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES

•Logical worker required to program data entry screens/forms and program checks to run against the data that will be entered into the clinical database from supplied specifications;

•An interest in programming languages is required;

•Perform integration testing to QC the database;

•Support a team via managing system changes to the database throughout the course of a project;

•Update the clinical database;

•Maintain study documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

•Bachelor's degree preferably in a health related field or a technical field;

•Some experience in an office setting is preferred;

•Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;

•Knowledge of Microsoft Office;

•Great attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills;

Preferred skills

•Knowledge of medical terminology.
