Come and develop your career in Clinical Trials amongst a team of vibrant, dedicated professionals who make up the Contracts & Proposals group, with a global remit. As a Senior Contracts Analyst you will develop and prepare contracts for assigned customers, to support the global clinical business.
We are seeking an extremely organised and assertive individual who can demonstrate strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities along with excellent communication skills who is used to working to tight timelines across multiple contracts of varying values.
Ideally you will have a background working on contracts in a clinical research environment, however those with demonstrable contract experience in different industries will also be considered.
Responsibilities to expect as Senior Contracts Analyst:
Work closely with project teams to determine appropriate terms and conditions of contracts
Act as Team Lead on assigned projects and manage the contract development process for large, complex contracts and provide support as required
Act as primary customer interface on large, complex contracts, responsible for maintaining and developing customer relationships
Revise or develop the contracts and related budgets and scope of work. Ensure the scope of work is defined correctly and budgets reflect the scope. Ensure any changes are integrated into the main study contract efficiently and accurately
Customise documents to accurately reflect services provided. Oversee finalisation and distribution of documents
Assist in the negotiation of legal contracting text using QuintilesIMS Global Contracting Policy, templates fallbacks
Create budget, scopes and contracts as required, review complex contracting situations and provide guidance and advice to team
Provide advice, support and guidance to other Contract Analysts as needed
Mentor and train team members
This is an excellent opportunity to gain industry and company-wide insight into the various services and functions; Data Management, Biostatistics, Project Managers, Clinical, Advisory Services, etc. on a global scale.
You will work very closely with the customer, Project Management and legal teams to negotiate contracts and study scope, which will provide you with a solid understanding of the industry.

Qualifications & experience required:
Our ideal candidate will have a Degree in Life Science, Business Management or related field and previous experience in contracts gained within a CRO or similar corporate environment; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
We will also be looking for:
Knowledge of CRO Industry - preferred
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and understanding of costing models
Possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to prepare and interpret budgets
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and customers
Ability to work with multi-functional delivery teams
Full eligibility to work full time in the UK
