Job Summary:

The Clinical Research Associate will identify, select, initiate and close-out appropriate investigational sites for clinical studies and be responsible for monitoring clinical trials ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCP), investigator integrity and compliance with all study procedures. Your operational responsibilities:

  • Conduct site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring and study closeout visits, in accordance with federal regulations, Good Clinical Practices, ICH Guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures and business processes.
  • Participates in site feasibility and/or pre-trial site assessment visits.
  • Follows the corresponding Monitoring Guidelines for each assigned trial.
  • Responsible for ensuring the full range of activities from study set-up through to close-out.
  • Attends/participates in investigator meetings as needed.
  • Build relationships with current and potential investigators.
  • Proactively identify issues that may impact enrolment and recruitment timelines.


To be suitable for this position you must be eligible to work in the required location, be willing to work home based in Germany, speak fluent English and German and also be able to show evidence of:

  • Ideally Diploma degree in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Biology or comparable.
  • Minimum 6 months of clinical trial monitoring experience.
  • Monitoring experience in Oncology is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stay away from home.
  • Efficient and diligent working, analytical thinking, assertiveness, high sense of responsibility.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
