We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Trial Assistant to support the Global Trial Management team of one of our top pharmaceutical clients. The focus of this position is to support operational aspects of the Medical Affairs department. The team you will be supporting is a virtual team, based in different European countries. This position is office-based in Beerse, Belgium or Paris.



Job Description:



The main responsibilities of the CTA in Medical Affairs are:

* Assist with activities as assigned by the Global Trial Manager (GTM)/Clinical Program Leader (CPL) which support trial management
* Member of the Study Management Team (SMT) for each study assigned. Responsible for setting up meetings and maintaining minutes
* Assist GTM in management of study budget including affiliate spend, vendor management (including reconciliation of invoices and final budget), liaising with Accounts Payable as necessary
* Manage CTMS with expectations that study status is available at all times; work with local Affiliates to ensure trial specific data are up-to-date, complete, accurate and consistent
* Manage eTMF (Central Administrative File) across various phases of a trial
* Support team-specific Sharepoint sites to ensure availability of all central trial documents
* Ensures investigator/IRB lists are available for Clinical Study Reports
* Liaise with Contract Research Organization/Academic Research Organization teams if outsourced trial and as defined by GTM
