Due to expansion and portfolio integrations, we are currently looking for a number of truly talented Regulatory professionals to join the team - Associate level and upwards. Our current priority is to appoint a Senior Manager, Global Regulatory Affairs.


The Opportunity

As a Senior Manager, Global Regulatory Affairs in this business, you will sit within a team totaling 80 people across a number of different sites. This particular position is based in the Central London office where around 30 members of the total Regulatory team are based.

Independent, autonomous leadership of regulatory activity within your assigned portfolio (e.g. Cough & Cold, Allergy, Smoking Cessation etc.)
Strategically focused position with executional activity primarily being managed through a project team of Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.
Strategy development and project oversight of initial license applications for new products, new geographical license applications for existing products, ongoing license maintenance, development and approval of advertising and promotional material, new claims development etc.
Line Management and development of a Regulatory team. Team size and seniority dependent on level of experience. Applications from professionals looking to develop a technically focused career without line management responsibilities are also more than welcome.
This is a highly visible position within the organization and will see the successful professional work with senior team members in other business divisions as well as the executive leadership team, representing the RA function and providing regulatory advice to help guide wider business decisions.


The Person

We are looking for natural, inspiring leaders who are also technically very strong.
7 years + within post market Regulatory Affairs. You will have experience working in a project/people management position ideally within the Consumer Healthcare area, although candidates with experience purely in prescription medicines will still be considered.
You must be commercially minded and able to understand the impact that the regulatory division has on the wider business.
The ability to think “outside the box” is key (Sorry for the cliché) – This Regulatory team is very good at challenging the status quo and doing things slightly differently to get results - you should have the ability to do the same.  We are looking for professionals who can challenge and influence Regulatory Authorities to ensure regulatory aspects are never a barrier to commercial goals. This role is all about solving problems, not creating them.
Ideally you can be based in Central London although there is potential flexibility for the right person to work either partly or wholly from one of their other offices in the North of the UK.
