As an Associate Medical Writer, you will be responsible for the generation of patient narratives from clinical trials data across a wide variety of therapeutic areas. You will take complex individual patient data from programmed listings and written patient reports and synthesise into a coherent narrative that supports a thorough evaluation of adverse events whilst maintaining fidelity to narrative writing templates.

In addition, you will be responsible for quality control of patient narratives that were written by other team members, checking for accuracy (consistency with source documentation) and formatting. You will manage the review process, liaising with PRA’s Regulatory Medical Writers, physicians and other team members as appropriate.

You will work closely with our Clinical Programmers to develop programmed, or partially programmed patient narratives according to client specifications.

You will receive on-the-job training and supervision, starting on relatively simple narrative writing projects. Over time, you will have the opportunity to progress to more complex patient narratives, managing review cycles with PRA’s clients and to the management of large and challenging narrative writing projects.
