Job Role:

Due to continued expansion, we are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our busy Finance & Operations Team.  We are looking for a motivated Finance Assistant who is looking to develop and progress their career. This role will report to the Financial Controller, but with a significant amount of involvement, support and interaction with the wider Operations team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with management of contractor payroll process for 300+ contractors
  • Raising and distribution of sales invoices to clients
  • Credit control and customer query resolution including new customer set up
  • Process supplier invoices from input to payment (including employee expenses)
  • Supplier reconciliations and management including PO management
  • Booking of cash receipts and bank reconciliations
  • Working with Operations team on input and updating of placements/deal sheets on Bullhorn CRM system
  • Support Operations team on on-boarding of new contractors
  • Dealing with internal and external queries
  • Variety of other ad-hoc duties as required

Skills, 

  • At least 18 months of work experience in a Finance department
  • Experience using accounting system software (Sage would be desirable but not essential)
  • IT literature with good working knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to manage workload
  • Must have a flexible approach and be a team player
  • Experience in working for a recruitment business is desirable but not essential
