Requirements:

A well-known international pharmaceutical company with sites around the globe is looking to hire a QA Officer. The company specialises in developing and producing medicines and vaccines for a wide range of therapeutic areas including oncology, cardiology and immunology. This is a contract role based in Greater London, UK.

Job Role:

  • Execute and maintain of the Pharmaceutical Quality Management System for Quality Compliance, supporting the internal and external customers for the EMEA region. 
  • To assure compliance to company policies and procedures, commitments within applicable Marketing/Manufacturing Authorisations and local / global Health Authority regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute and maintain of the Pharmaceutical Quality Management System for EMEA Quality Compliance to meet current regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the Deviation, Quality Risk Management, Product Quality Review, Change Control, Training, Documentation, and Inspection Readiness systems.
  • Working with internal departments to support the satisfactory completion and progress of quality management system records and documents to ensure they meet the standards of Good Manufacturing, Distribution and Documentation Practice required.
  • Management of assigned quality system elements to ensure full oversight of completion to required timelines and provision of metrics and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Perform investigation of issues and deviations together with subject matter experts, ensuring full root-cause analysis is conducted and appropriate corrective actions assigned.
  • Provision of support to country offices and affiliates for management of Health Authority GMDP Inspections / Corporate audits.
  • Provide training to Quality personnel in areas of expertise.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree level education preferably in Life Science
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated continual development in both technical knowledge and industry regulations.
  • Ideally a background in QA in pharmaceutical or related industry, including extensive experience with QMS, documentation and internal auditing
