The role will be working as an Account Manager across Northern Ireland. This position provides sales promotion to healthcare professionals in the UK, to achieve set sales growth, advocate development and activity objectives with best-in-class account management.
Pharmaceutical sales experience within primary and secondary care, with evidence of managing complex NHS decision making
Proven track record of sales success and understanding of the factors that drive sales in the wider NHS environment
To have a proven knowledge of the evolving NHS and its implications
Able to demonstrate clear analytical thinking, to create effective tactical objectives and actions
To demonstrate excellent customer relationship management, and be able to use CRM systems to enhance interactions
Hold a current ABPI certificate (or pass within 2 years)
Degree or other relevant qualification
To work within the account team to identify a target customer base aligned with the potential to develop sales in the accounts
To create and implement specific account plans aligned to the company’s business strategies.
Propose proactively alternative solutions for business issues across the region, by clear understanding of NHS policy and decision making
To monitor, review and amend current account plans, frequently & fully, and to ensure delivery of planned activities & objectives are met
To be an expert in the relevant products and disease areas
To be able to work across and contribute to multiple business objectives whilst maintaining high personal output
To organise, record and carry out group customer meetings in line with account objectives, and company policies
To collaborate appropriately with all relevant personnel within the company, to achieve the objectives of the account plan
To ensure that a complete diary of future customer appointments and meetings is maintained at all times within the in-house system
To be able to act on business intelligence to understand customer needs in order to improve the in call process and gain commitment to action
To undertake all company administration processes in a full and timely manner, manage own development and contribute to the development of others & to act as a role model and/or a mentor to others in the organisation
