An established and well regarded speciality biopharmaceutical company based in the North-West is looking for a Supply Chain Manager, responsible for managing the supply chain of early stage product development as part of Biologics Development. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating all aspects of early product supply chain; from production to fill-finish and testing, release and delivery to pre-clinical (pharmacology/toxicology) and clinical development sites, transfers to Manufacturing/QC and internal/external partners.

As Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for:
Implementation of pro-active & effective product demand and supply strategies to meet
development timelines and requirements.
Manage appropriate development & lifecycle strategies for material supply in compliance with ICH,
Pharmacopeia and cGMP requirements.
Providing regulatory documentation to support product development plans to first time regulatory approvals.
Provide comprehensive understanding of project planning strategies, data management and
regulatory requirements for biological product development supply.
Proactively engage with key stakeholders across and outside of the business to drive forward and
support Biologics strategy.
Support CMC Project Leadership, incorporating expertise and requirements across CMC programs.
The successful candidate will bring to the role:
Proven knowledge and capabilities across core areas of novel Biologics Development.
Experience managing (directly or indirectly) diverse and multi-cultural teams.
Proven experience in supporting organisational and culture change.
Biopharmaceutical R&D industry/project management experience.
Skilled and adaptable communicator, with the ability to chair and lead discussions, influence, persuade and negotiate compromise.
Ideally educated to PhD level with experience of biologics development.
