Your chance to work as a specialist CRA on Phase 1 studies in the SSU unit

Requirements:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for candidates to join the SSU/Site Intelligence Unit for one of Barrington James’ key clients. They are looking to appoint an experienced CRA II or SCRA to take advantage of the chance to be involved in a different perspective of the CRA role. If you are a CRA II or Senior CRA who wants to work on pivotal phase 1 studies in a specialist role, this is a great opportunity.

Responsibilities:     

  • Performs and coordinates site evaluation visits in accordance with ICH GCP and FDA guidelines and
  • Global SOPs to ensure the selection of appropriately qualified sites of investigational products and/or medical devices.
  • Works in conjunction with the Clinical Submissions Specialist(s) and Clinical Contracts Specialist(s) to prepare investigational sites for initiation.
  • Performs the function of mentor for junior clinical team members.
  • Dealing with EC and Regulatory submissions 
  • May assist management team with certain project management functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences or related field or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution (i.e.: RN, MT, PA, RPh, RT)
  • Minimum three years as a clinical monitor / CRA
  • Formal training in Medical Terminology
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
