In this role, Principal Statistical Programmer will serve as a Lead Programmer for projects, serve as contact with clients for programming aspects of clinical studies, work closely with Project Lead to manage Biometrics project teams, monitor programming and validation activity of project team, review quality of project deliverables, assist in establishing departmental processes, interact with other departments, train staff and other departmental administrative duties, project setup and close out and maintenance of project directories on computer systems.
This position requires a 4 year computer science/math degree or equivalent along with minimum of 7 years of statistical SAS programming experience in a clinical research setting (CRO experience preferred). Should be able to programmatically generate all parts of a submission, including, but not limited to, hands-on experience with CDISC/SDTM/ADaM specifications, programming and validation, development and validation of all types of tables, listings and figures, CDISC define documentation. Good understanding of ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements. Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, strong communication and organization skills and good problem solving ability. Some travel may be required for meetings.
