Senior Statistician - ParisThis position is for a global Biometrics CRO that is opening their offices in the heart of Paris. You will be joining a new team of statisticians and programmers that will be working on exciting new projects as a Senior Statistician.

This position is for a global Biometrics CRO that is opening their offices in the heart of Paris. You will be joining a new team of statisticians and programmers that will be working on exciting new projects.

The team will be headed up by very experienced directors and managers in Statistics and Programmers that will be looking to make a strong office based presence in Paris.

Ideally to be office based where you will get flexibility to work from home on occasion, the company believes in having a strong office presence of experienced people that can work together in a collaborative environment.

The career progression is steady and thorough and you will be leaning on the experience of a number of experienced statisticians and programmers than can help develop you and give you tips and tricks.

You’ll be the lead on a number of studies and projects – managing the projects timelines and resources, speaking to individuals in that are either internal or external stake holders.

The ability for you to flex your statistical methodological skills be indeed in studies across multiple therapy areas, in particular – Oncology studies. You will need to apply techniques like survival analysis, Bayesian methodologies, mixed modelling and many more techniques.

Importantly – you need to be an experienced SAS programmer to be able to review the quality of the programming before submitting to clients.

LOCATION: Paris, France – Office based
SALARY: Dependent on candidate, competitive to the market rates

What does this client wants the candidate to look like:
• BSc AND MSc or Phd in Statistics or a Degree with strong statistical content
• At least 6+ years working in the CRO, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or relevant industry – or relevant experience in Clinical Trials
• Have had experienced leading teams or studies
• Experience in SAS is required for programming.
• Must have the rights to work in France
