Global Marketing Lead / Brand Marketing Lead – Earn £329 per day plus benefits (PAYE) or £426 per day (LTD)

Our Global Pharmaceutical Client, a top 100 FTSE Company, is looking for a Global Marketing Lead / Brand Marketing Lead to join their team in Middlesex for 12 months, to solve complex problems at a strategic and global level, gain an in-depth understanding of consumer needs and behaviours to enable the development of new innovative concepts that are aligned to the brand strategy. Care must be given to ensure that strategies and concepts are business enhancing across a wide diversity of markets consisting of multiple brands at various stages within the product lifecycle.

Support the Global Business Lead as follows:

* Work with markets to deliver net sales and market share growth in line with 3-1 plan
* Optimize elements of the P&L to enhance category performance
* Contribute expert and shopper knowledge in to the category and brand growth plan
* Collaborate with Expert Director to increase recommendation rates
* Liaise with Shopper Director to drive in-store activation to win in pharmacy
* Provide strategic guidance to category on ‘WTP and HTW’ on Area choices, portfolio complexity, amplification, investment choices, innovation and planning
* Recommend intervention & opportunity plans via on-going assessment of in-year category/brand business performance in region in collaboration with Areas
* Be category owner of optimizing Area MAP, Comms planning process, A&P, BIC share & reapply, in-year launch plans while providing key region inputs when collaborating with GBLs for 3-1, BCs, innovation & CI ideas
* Collaborate with Areas to ensure category strategies, innovation pipeline, toolkits are being leveraged effectively to maximize commercial & media plans
* Be key point of contact of the category in the region for operational and day to day Area issues or opportunities while acting as key link for Areas to the Global Commercial or PMB (local expansion) teams
* Work with supply chain partners to optimize gross margins and cog’s
* Work with supply chain to manage out-of-stock issues and long term supply strategy

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

* Proven ability to provide recommendation of intervention & opportunity plans via on-going assessment of in-year category/brand business performance in region in collaboration with Areas
* Ability to collaborate with Areas to ensure category strategies, innovation pipeline, toolkits are being leveraged effectively to maximize commercial & media plans
* Proven delivery of flawless launches across markets
* Demonstrated ability to implement consistent brand assets across markets and through all consumer touch points
* Proven P&L/budget management, budget responsibility, pricing and COG’s strategy development
* Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with successful outcome
* Exceptional communication (verbal & written) and influencing skills
* Ability to lead within a matrix organization, integrating complex multifunctional efforts crossing multiple business areas
* Experience in emerging consumer class markets or other emerging economies will be highly preferred
* Experience in leading business growth in complex regulatory environments
* Knowledge of the category’s key markets
* Science based marketing experience
* Proven track record of commercial success in a LOC marketing role or above country role
* Performance driven and strong project management skills with a high level of pro activity
* Capacity to network effectively and build strong relationships across different countries and cultures
* High strategic and analytical capabilities
* Good communication skills
* Category/international/Asia experience in skin care marketing
* Track record of contributions to the strategic planning process, ideally at both a category and brand level
* Significant proven track record of driving brand growth through identifying and deploying powerful insights
