Are you looking for a progressive and enjoyable career in Clinical Research career as a Lead Clinical Research Associate (LCRA)?
 

Due to a period of exciting growth, my client, a niche Biotech company are now looking to appoint a home based Senior Clinical Research Associate.

This position requires a candidate who has prior SCRA experience within a CRO, they must have experience of various phases, therapeutic areas, and have experience of site visits from start up to close out.

The chosen candidate must have UK independent monitoring experience.

In return the chosen candidate will be working with on exciting studies with pioneering therapeutic areas. This position provides the candidate with lots of hands on exposure to all aspects of the business as they will directly reporting to the head of clinical operations.

 

Main Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):

-            Assist in the operational site management of clinical trial.

-            On site co-monitoring visits with junior clinical research associates and with the vendor CRAs when needed – travel is limited though.

-            Regulatory and Ethics paper submissions.

-            Development and maintenance of SOPs and ICH-GCP guidelines

-            Management of external service providers.

-            Financial input for clinical study budgets.

-            Review, draft and update clinical Protocol/amendments, IBs, PIS-ICFs and other study documents.

-            Ensure Trail Master File (TMF) maintenance.

-            Set up and/or maintain study trackers using excel and other software.

-            Prepare monthly progress reports.

-            Develop and maintain tools to track and analyse monitoring activities, patient enrolment and retention.

-            Develop, maintain and analyse quality metrics to ensure protocols compliance and quality of study sites.

-           

 

Experience/Qualifications:

-            Educated to degree level in Life Sciences or equivalent.

-            Minimum of 3 years independent monitoring experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) within a CRO/Pharmaceutical/Biotech company in the UK.

-            Thorough knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines.

-            Excellent organisational and accuracy skills.

-            Good understanding of Clinical Research and the clinical trials process as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) with desired therapy area experience in Oncology.

-            Excellent written and oral communication in both English and French.

-            Driven for success.

-            Full clean driving license.
