Technical Support Analyst - Permanent - £ Competitive + benefits

Our Global Pharmaceutical Client is looking for a Technical Support Analyst to join their team in Hertfordshire to help provide an excellent technical support service for the EMEA region, ensuring that Service Level Agreements are met in relation to user requirements



Key Responsibilities:

* Provide customer-focused high quality IT support to the region
* Ensure that all requests are completed to agreed Service Management Levels
* Prioritise incidents according to their business impact
* Monitor proactively, maintain and administer regional IT systems including Servers, Virtual Desktop Environment, Microsoft Active Directory, Backup Systems , ICT Disaster Recovery Environment, Software Deployment, Enterprise Storage, Microsoft AppV, Databases and Lotus Notes messaging
* Using Problem Management tools and methods, identify the root cause of problems and resolve appropriately
* Monitor problem solutions to ensure that Operating Level Agreements (OLA’s) are met and escalate to the Technical Support Manager when they are not
* May perform project work



Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

* A Level education or the equivalent
* Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) - Microsoft Server 2008/2012
* Lotus Notes R8.5 System Administration
* History of technical support
* Track record of dealing with service providers
* Experience of Lotus Domino administration
* History of Active Directory maintenance & support
* Experience of supporting a virtual server and desktop environment
* Excellent interpersonal Customer Relationship Management skills
* Logical approach to problem solving
* High quality customer-focused approach to service provision
* Good teamworker
* Logical approach to resolving change requests
