PPD has an exciting opportunity for a Project Assistant to join us based from our Cambridge office.  You will be dedicated and tasked with the systems and processes for a major pharmaceutical partner.  PPD works in collaboration with this pharmaceutical partner; you will be dedicated to the client projects, working within their teams, systems and processes on behalf of PPD, based from our Cambridge office.    This is a great opportunity for life science graduates  with some industry experience or CTA's/Project Assistants at any level currently working within the life science sector for pharmaceutical companies, Biotech companies or Clinical Research Organizations` (CRO) who would enjoy the opportunity to work for a CRO dedicated to one client.    As the trusted partner of some of the most innovative big pharmaceutical and biotech companies; our Project Assistants have the opportunity to work on challenging projects across a wide range of therapy areas. You must be able to prioritise and work well within a multi-national team environment and have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and exposure to clinical software packages.  We are seeking candidates who have gained experience or exposure in a supporting function within a pharmaceutical, Biotech, CRO or life science environment. Qualifications

 Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or good general education with administrative qualifications preferred or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • General administration experience. Clinical research administration experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Self-motivated, positive attitude with good oral and written communication and good interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a team or independently as required. • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail, with ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. • Ability to effectively analyze and update project specific data/systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. • Flexibility and adaptability to reprioritize workload and provide efficient support to meet changing project timelines. • Customer focus. • Ability to attain and maintain a working knowledge of applicable ICH GCP • Good English language and grammar skills. • Good computer skills, proficient in MS office and able to obtain and retain knowledge, so as to maintain and update computer based clinical trial database systems.   Our offer:   As a compensation, you will be provided with a competitive remuneration, corporate trainings and the opportunity to become a part of a fast growing, multinational company.   At PPD, we encourage our employees to demonstrate creativity, innovation and fresh insights as well as a solution-focused approach.
