Ian Marlow is recruiting for a Manager of Programming to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry for a home or office based position on a permanent basis.
The main purpose of the role will be to:
Manage a team of programmers including all aspects from appraisals to training mentoring of team as well as programming yourself.
The ability to facilitate communication with clients, project teams, departments and staff.
Understand and participate in bidding programming work
Demonstrate leadership and problem solving ability
To manage and deliver your teams trials to time, in budget and to a very high standard.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Degree or equivalent or on job experience will be considered
You must have database management and SAS Programming experience.
Supervisory experience required.
Knowledge of clinical trials
Ability to independently and effectively organise and manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines.
Understanding of relational data base structure and experience working with complex data.
Excellent problem solving skills
The drive and ability to combine Programming and managing at the same time.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Programmer with some mentoring or management experience who is looking to move to the next level.
