DRUG SAFETY/RISK MANAGER - CAMBRIDGE (18 MONTH CONTRACT)

* JOB OVERVIEW *
- We are currently looking for a Drug Safety Manager (Risk Management) on an 18-month contract initially (with the possibility of an extension) for a global leading Pharma situated in Cambridge
- Start date in March 2017 and a competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

* KEY RESPONSIBILITIES *
- Assist in the Operational Management, Risk Management, Medical Surveillance and Coding within the department
- Prepare and author reports of aggregate safety data, risk management plans and responses to regulatory agency safety concerns
- Review, process and report Serious Adverse Events
- Maintenance of the electronic archiving system and safety databases
- Prepare and update clinical safety documents and team SOP’s
- Participate and contribute in cross-functional teams on all safety matters and projects
- Support all safety activities for clinical trials, including protocol review, study team representation and document authoring
- Contribute to internal safety committee meetings and lead specific projects with guidance

* REQUIREMENTS *
- Risk Management and Signal Detection experience
- 3-5 years minimum UK experience in a Pharmacovigilance setting
- Bachelor’s degree (or relevant qualification)
- Maintain knowledge of changes in the regulatory and compliance requirements

* LOCATION & PACKAGE *
- Based in Cambridge, fully office based (5 days a week)
- Above market average daily rate (lucrative)
