Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PV Officer to join a growing pharma on a 3 month contract. This role would suit a PV professional with extensive case processing experience and some signal detection/PSUR exposure who is looking for the chance to widen their PV knowledge and gain experience working in a cross functional position with quality assurance and regulatory.

This contract is a full-time time (5 days/week) office based position which offers the opportunity for a pharmacovigilance officer to join a growing UK pharma and gain a wide exposure in varied pharmacovigilance activities. We are looking for a highly-motivated professional who has previous experience in signal detection and PSURs who can contribute a positive energy to the current team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all pharmacovigilance activities for all company products
  • Assist in safety surveillance activities
  • Report adverse drug reactions relating to company products and Clinical trials in a timely manner
  • Assist in PSUR generation and submissions
  • Maintain and monitor PV systems
  • Work with the MHRA ensuring company compliance with PV regulations and guidelines
  • ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a consistent efficient manner

 

Skills Required

  • A life sciences or related degree
  • Extensive case processing experience
  • At least 3 years of pharmacovigilance industry expereince
  • Knowledge of regulatory bodies and guidelines
  • Understanding/exposure to signal detection/PSURs
