Great opportunity for an experienced Statistical Programmer to join a biopharmaceutical company with an exceptionally healthy drug pipeline and growth prospects
A truly exciting biopharmaceutical company with a bustling pipeline of various compounds from Pre-Clinical through to Late Phase III, seeks a versatile Principal Statistical Programmer to add to its growing team in Maryland.
The Biopharma has a genuinely exciting future; due to their intuitive approach to treating their core three therapeutic areas, they have attracted a lot of industry attention and therefore have received the support, in the form of partnerships, from various leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies. To compliment this success, they are committed to their employees and are dedicated to providing opportunities for individuals to learn and grow.
The Principal Statistical Programmer would join a team that promotes a dynamic and incredibly varied, yet still structured, environment. The team is headed and lead by a immensely experienced industry professional with a wealth of knowledge that the Principal Statistical Programmer will benefit from, which will enhance their skillset, more than any other opportunity in the market presently.
The Principal Statistical Programmer will enjoy an extremely varied scope of responsibilities, taking data from the Clinical Data Management Systems in its raw format, through SDTM and in to ADaM analysis datasets. They will program and validate Tables, Listings and Figures as per the Statistical Analysis Plan, and will also satisfy ad-hoc requests from other staff.
They will be given opportunities to represent Programming at cross-functional team meetings and will be expected to support and mentor junior programming staff. The Principal Statistical Programmer will liaise with external vendors where necessary and oversee any outsourced programming tasks. Also, the expectation is for all staff, no matter what level, to actively participate in contributing to departmental process and standards where necessary, which in itself promotes a truly family-feel environment.
I manage a range of other permanent and freelance positions for a broad portfolio of clients (Biotech, CRO and Pharma). If the above role isn’t for you but you’d nevertheless like to discuss your options in the market, I’d welcome a confidential discussion by phone or email. Contact Daniel Cheetham at (646) 586 9087.
