Commercial Operations Assistant - Interim Contract
Location: West London.
Pay rate: £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience.
Duration: 1 Year with a possible ext.

An opportunity to work as a Commercial Operations Assistant has become available with an established and globally recognised biopharmaceutical client. This is an excellent contract opportunity for Commercial Operations Assistants.

Responsibilities as a Commercial Operations Assistant:
*Logistic management for internal and external meetings.
*Provide administrative support to field based sales teams / head office marketing teams across business units.
*Review meetings from sales team within electronic approval system for compliance with ABPI Code of Conduct and route to approval teams as appropriate.
*Generate meetings documentation with current prescribing information for distribution to Health Care Professionals.
*Make job bags within electronic copy approval systems to deliver compliant approval, recertification, withdrawal, expiration / archiving of materials, in line with company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
*Liaise with the legal department e.g. produce appropriate contracts for customers / external suppliers.
*Record and securely store all final signed contracts.
*Ad-hoc filing of copy approval job bags.
*Assistance with switchboard if it gets busy.
*Process finance requests such as purchase orders, requests for payments, invoices and new vendor requests within Oracle and Basware electronic systems adhering to internal deadlines.
*Travel bookings for EU, UK and International travel.
*Work in conjunction with relevant colleagues to track sales and marketing commercial budgets with the budget holder and finance team.
*Work closely with brand managers on the storage and supply of all marketing materials, including stock control and rotation, recall procedure and destruction of out of date materials.
*Work with cross functional departments to co-ordinate inductions for new starters within sales and marketing teams.

Profile required:
*Pharmaceutical industry experience is essential.
*Understanding of the ABPI and IPHA Codes of Conduct e.g. in the commercial area.
*Project management skills.
*Understanding of the financial aspects of congress / event management.
*Previous experience in booking UK, European and International travel.
*Must demonstrate organisational, customer service and interpersonal skills.
*Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Zinc and Oracle.
