An opportunity is available within PAREXEL for a highly skilled Integration Platform Architect with a good background & experience with INFORMATICA technologies to join us here at our new modern PAREXEL office situated in Nottingham city centre.

The role will be within our System Design Group (SDG) and will provide architecture services to our newly forming Integration Competency Centre (ICC).

We need an individual who is able to demonstrate a good understanding of INFORMATICA technologies and their application in a dynamic business environment of pharmaceutical & clinical drug trials. The role will be responsible for providing consultancy, governance & delivery support for focused initiatives, system designs & technical specifications that the ICC, engineering or hosting teams will deliver.

The Role

You will be an integral part of our SDG, who are responsible for strategic & operational architecture with PAREXEL Informatics, with the role having a heavy bias towards integration & INFORMATICA based solutions. The role will report into a System Design Group EA director but will provide consultancy across the organisation into the ICC, business development and business operations.

This role will require you to:
- Contribute to and shape strategies, initiatives and determine adoption approaches at the integration solution level
- Manage effective and efficient Architectural Governance
- -Champion the quality of Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture & Design outputs as is relevant to integrated solutions, to mentor, train and motivate within and cross teams
- Champion Architectural Consultancy, Advisory and Architectural Leadership on strategic integration projects
- Effectively communicate and manage senior stakeholders
- Lead a pragmatic approach to Architecture, Design and Technology adoption
- Establish a close working relationship with the ICC, engineering and operational teams ensuring effective group dynamics, prioritisation and continuous knowledge transfer.

The Individual
- Experience in software engineering, software development, enterprise and/or solution architecture with a proven track record in integration
- In depth experience having worked closely with the INFORMATICA product portfolio.
- Able to develop both High Level Designs (HLD) and ideally also the ability to deliver Low Level Designs within this area of expertise.
- Experience in high frequency complex integrated data environments
- Experience of working in an agile environment, ideally Scaled (SAFe)
- Possesses a high level of consultative & influencing skills and have prior experience of collaborating with Business Analysts and Enterprise Architects in solving complex business problems with innovative technical solutions
-Possess strong leadership skills and exhibits creative thinking to be able to come up with solutions to solve business challenges
- Self-motivated
- Experience working with blended teams consisting of employees, suppliers and consultants both onshore and offshore
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies
-Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory
-Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones
