Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a market leading Healthcare organisation with two exciting new opportunities working as Medical Sales Representatives within the Nutrition market. These exciting roles will be working across either North Tyneside, Newcastle and Teeside, OR Newcastle and North of Tyne. These are short term rolling contracts.

Requirements:

We are currently recruiting for a market leading Healthcare organisation with two exciting new opportunities working as Medical Sales Representatives within the Nutrition market. These exciting roles will be working across either North Tyneside, Newcastle and Teeside, OR Newcastle and North of Tyne. These are short term rolling contracts. 

Essential Requirements: 
Minimum of 18 months’ proven history of strong sales performance ideally in a Healthcare or Pharmaceutical environment.
Experience selling into Care Homes Nurses, Primary Care Nurses, Community Nurses, District Nurses, OR Speech and Language Therapists.
Enteral feeding or Nutrition experience would be preferable. 
Selling, negotiation & key account management skills. 
Strong understanding of the NHS and Nutrition.
Ability to take an account management approach to managing territory business.
Ability to manage the demands of a portfolio of products.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
To deliver territory sales targets and to build mutually beneficial relationships and achieve a ‘preferred partner status’ with all our key customers to ensure sustainable growth.
Targeting of Dysphagia Specialists to drive product acceptance of our client’s range of products.
Shared accountability of implementation of “push-pull” strategy to an excellent standard. 
Develop, review, track progress and deliver on a territory business plan and account plans.
Actively participate in cross functional teams to drive account profitability, may include involvement in ad-hoc projects.
Identify key customers and develop sustainable relationships in order to sell our client’s products and services in line with the customer need delivering profitable growth. 
Provide an appropriate solution and deliver against commitments made. 
Relationship development of local key stakeholders and commissioner influencers in partnership with Sales Managers & Accounts Managers.
Prepare, analyse and report on calls in order to progress the relationship and develop skills.
