We have an exciting opportunity available for Gut Ecosystem Research Unit Leader based in Switzerland. This is a fantastic option for an experienced scientific mind to lead innovative an exciting R&D and expert teams.
Responsible for building and driving scientific strategy on host-microbe ecosystem research
Leading the Guy Ecosystem Research unit as well as engaging other units and teams across the business
Engage, influence and build network externally
Actively evaluate external opportunities and integrate them in internal strategy
Lead coach and develop teams, integrating different abilities into the research unit
Pushing forwards innovation with industry and academia
Recognised experience (inc PHD) in host-microbe interaction (microbiota, intestinal barrier, gut physiology, digestive disease, immune (including allergic disorders) or related domains.
Proven experience in developing and executing scientific and technological strategies
Experience leading, coaching and developing people
International R&D experience in industry (not necessarily required but would be positive!)
Established network in gut ecosystem area
