Our client is a global Biopharma with an exciting and diverse range of products and are frequently market leaders. They are looking for an intelligent, driven and highly competent National Market Access Manager to join their Market Access Team in the UK, with the major focus of the role being managing and delivering successful HTA submissions. The role leads both the delivery and project management of all HTA submissions for new medicines through collaboration with internal and external partners as well as the brand market access strategies and programmes. Strategic input to develop the brand value story and relevant tools to deliver the value messages to payers, pharmacists, clinicians among other stakeholders is important, as is engaging with NHS Payers and customers to orchestrate solutions benefiting patients, the NHS and the organization. Contributing to the development of commercial offers and tenders along with any value dossier that follows is expected, in addition to complying with all internal and external guideline and policies.
Successful applicants will have a strong understanding and relevant experience of Market Access, HTAs and engaging with submission bodies, as well as having deep knowledge of both National and Local Commissioning and funding processes in the UK. High level written and oral communication skills are crucial to advising senior stakeholders and managers to present clear recommendations to the executive Board. Equally important is recognising the impact of NHS structures across Primary, Secondary and Tertiary care as well as using knowledge of NHS funding flows and difficulties so as to achieve beneficial outcomes for all parties. A strong track record of delivering clear outcomes, including Shared Care Protocols, re-designing of Treatment Pathways and Formulary Approvals is required.
The role is based within Greater London and requires office presence. The salary and package are competitive and dependent on the level of previous experience.
