  Now a great opportunity exists for an experienced professional to work with our team in Smolensk at the position of:

Import/Export Coordinator (6 months Freelance role), Smolensk


The professional is responsible and accountable for the planning and execution of moderate to complex Import & Export activities for assigned studies. Responsible for coordination of the Import and Export transactions through delivery to depots. Actively problem solves and suggests solutions to import/export challenges.

 

Main responsibilities:


  • Ensure that import and export activities are done according to PPD requirements, Client requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Perform any other logistic and administrative activities according to their needs and growth of the Department.
  • Meet with the Import/Export Manager to discuss import and export issues. Provides appropriate recommendations and alerts.
  • Ongoing Training on new Regulations concerning both Import/Export and GMP activities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High/secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years) or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Knowledge of local regulations covering all kinds of Import and Export activities
  • Specific Clinical Supply training and courses are essential
  • Familiar with clinical supply terminology, practices and principles

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Maintains tracker for Import/Export activity for Russia
  • Daily interaction with Vendors: Custom Brokers, Forwarders, Couriers and Depots
  • Maintenance of Import/Export files according to PPD requirements, Client requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Good awareness of the Clinical Supply Chain process: Imports/Shipping & Delivery/ Exports
  • Focus on Customer Service aligned with high standards of quality & excellence
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good level of English (verbal and written)
  • Computer skills: working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Microsoft Word is required
