Job Summary:

We are recruiting for an exciting new opportunity with a dynamic and supportive Pharma organisation. Our client has an extensive product range within the Osteo market and you will be working as a Key Account Specialist across East Sussex. This role is to ensure the delivery of territory sales targets for our client’s product portfolio through development and implementation of a territory business plan, inline with the strategy and will be working in both Primary & Secondary Care.

This exciting role will be working as a Key Account Specialist across East Sussex. This role is to ensure the delivery of territory sales targets for our client’s product portfolio through development and implementation of a territory business plan, in line with the regional and national strategy and will be working in both Primary and Secondary Care.

Essential Requirements: 
Proven track record of sales, preferably within the Pharmaceutical industry
Sound understanding of UK Pharmaceutical industry and demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of NHS policies, structures, funding streams, disease management/patient pathways and processes relevant to promoted products
High level & proven selling & influencing skills
Sound understanding of business planning and account management skills
Demonstrated history of effective interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal skills
Experience in presenting and influencing groups
Demonstrates well developed business and commercial acumen
Degree in scientific or business related subject or equivalent qualification
ABPI qualified is desirable but not essential
Driving licence (6 pts max)

Role Responsibilities:
Fully accountable for the delivery of territory sales targets and key performance indicators.
To deliver effective, compelling sales calls and presentations to drive effective growth of our client’s brand portfolio using appropriate materials.
To compile, monitor and review the territory business plan, proactively making adjustments in line with insights taken from data analysis to ensure that business goals are achieved.
Demonstrate understanding of the national and local healthcare system and how it impacts the territory business.
Demonstrate full understanding of product strategies, therapy knowledge, key competitors, marketing plan and communication objectives.
Develop long term business relationships through regular contact with relevant customers to maximise business opportunities in both the Primary and Secondary Care sectors
Utilise all available technology, including CRM and sales dashboard, to analyse and plan territory business.
Develop local level opinion leaders and speakers and co-ordinate speaker meetings and symposia through close liaison with RBM and NHS Liaison Manager.
To ensure that all company admin processes, learning & development and CRM systems are maintained and delivered in accordance with company standards, operating procedures and deadlines
Routinely feeds back local competitor and market intelligence to RBM, NHS Liaison Manager and Marketing teams.
Communicates, exchanges information and shares best practice between all regional team members and Marketing teams to ensure maximum awareness of local business issues / opportunities and company’s strategy
To possess a thorough understanding of the provisions of the APBI Code of Practice and internal SOPs, to ensure that the Company’s image and reputation is never jeopardised by irresponsible or unethical conduct.

Competent in Microsoft Office, data analysis and IT skills, including mobile devices
