We are currently recruiting for a market leading Healthcare organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a National Account Manager within the Consumer Healthcare market. This exciting role will be working nationally.

Requirements:

We are currently recruiting for a market leading Healthcare organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a National Account Manager within the FMCG/ Consumer Healthcare market. This exciting role will be working nationally managing one key account, both from our client’s head office in Berkshire and also some time field based.

Essential Requirements: 
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Experience managing a national account within Consumer Healthcare
Strategic thinker with a comprehensive category & retail knowledge
Solid understanding of the total business mix – brand and category management, shopper marketing; brand awareness, supply chain, financial management
Highly analytical, numerate with an excellent attention to detail
Ability to understand & utilise facts / market data to build commercial arguments
Ability to work in a high pressure hands-on environment 
Comprehensive knowledge of the UK routes to market, retailers & their strategies 
A strong track record of achieving targets 
Excellent relationship building skills internally and externally 
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent project management skills
Ability to work within the Sales team and across all the departments
Ability to communicate to and with senior management
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points

Role Responsibilities:
Develop annual Account Plan within brand and channel strategy tactically implement account plan, deliver and monitor vs monthly actuals of all financial business targets – sales, profit, spend, payment days
Negotiate new product listings / product distribution in line with Marketing Objectives and target ANSP’s 
Manage promotional spend and activity in line with annual / quarterly budgets 
Proactively communicate business opportunities / risks with solutions to deliver, in time 
Produce accurate volume and value forecasts to +/- 5%

Role Specific Competencies:
Excellent verbal & written presentation, communication, selling and negotiation skills, demonstrable at all levels, internal and external
IT literate with strong analytical skills - Conversant with Microsoft Office (some exposure to MS Access would be advantageous)
Able to influence NHS staff at the highest levels
Flexible “can do” attitude needed to thrive in a fast growing company
