The client, a leading Pharmaceutical Company in Cambridge are looking for an experienced statistician who can come in on a 6-month contract and hit the ground running. With possible extensions, this could prove to be a longer-term employment opportunity if the project goes as planned.
Ideal applicant would have experience working with trials for innovative drug products; preferably in the Respiratory, immunology or oncology fields. The client is happy to accept applicants with a background in the CRO or Pharmaceutical industries. The position cover phases I-IV, all being well.
Monitor data quality from a study conduct and output perspective.
Performs statistical analysis according to the SAP, validates analysis programs, reviews TLGs, prepares statistical methods and results sections for the clinical study report (CSR).
Performs and oversees the preparation, execution, reporting and documentation of all analyses.
Assist in writing efficacy sections of clinical study reports and summary documents.
Perform analyses and prepares data presentations for clinical registration dossiers.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Master of Science degree and five plus years related work experience.
Proficient knowledge of SAS.
Proven knowledge in drug development.
Strong hands-on experience with clinical trial and pharmaceutical development.
