Job Summary:

We are urgently recruiting for a Surgical Ophthalmology organisation who require a Territory Manager in the Central London & Essex territory! The company in question specialise in Cataract and Refractive surgical products and this role is initially to cover a 12 – 16 month maternity contract.

Requirements:

We are urgently recruiting for a Surgical Ophthalmology organisation who require a Territory Manager in the Central London & Essex territory! The company in question specialise in Cataract and Refractive surgical products and this role is initially to cover a 12 – 16 month maternity contract. 

Essential Requirements: 
Ophthalmology experience is desirable but not essential
Life Science qualification – preferable
Experience of the Central London & Essex territory
Negotiation experience
Strong presentation skills
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Achieves or exceed sales targets in each section of the equipment specialist product range and as a whole.
Liaises with tender adjudicators and decision makers to identify & influence tender conditions. Monitors and ensures ongoing performance of contracts & tenders.
Lobbies to introduce new products, concepts and surgical techniques in-line with company strategy. Carries out equipment/product demonstrations to support the same.
Demonstrates effective use of promotional items and literature and marketing support items.
Demonstrates a consistently high level of selling and negotiation skills in relation to gaining orders and contracts for equipment products.
Provides a level of service to existing and potential customers consistent with company standards.
Promotes the company products & image to the benefit of the customer and the company.
Identifies and proposes new added-value services for the customer, without reducing profitability.
Demonstrates effective analytical skills to define and progress our position in the market place.
Seeks assistance where appropriate to achieve the best business outcome and/or to further develop an understanding of the sales process, negotiation and business management.
