Broaden your Market Access Knowledge
Market Access is critical for a successful career in Pharma. An exciting, office-based opportunity has arisen to join the Roche Market Access Directorate as a Healthcare Brand Lead( HCBL)- a sub national system and payer expert. As part of the directorate you will be supported to develop your knowledge in all aspects of market access, where we will develop you to have a broad understanding of the entire market access function. You will receive a bespoke development package which will enable you to work within our team to understand everything a brand needs to gain access at the national and subnational level within the UK market.
Accountability for a
nominated brand(s) through an integrated Franchise approach
The HCBL will lead sub national strategies and develop brand(s) specific tactics that address environmental opportunities and challenges to access – our integrated franchise model will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further develop commercial experience working alongside experienced marketers, medical and sales functions, whist being assigned accountability for a nominated Franchise(s).
YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Developing strategic and tactical access plans
You will iidentify the opportunities and issues, for aligned Brand(s), at precise levels in the healthcare system and build the value of the Brand(s ) and/or solutions that resonate with payer customer needs.
You will be generating high quality healthcare strategic and tactical implementation plans, and participation in Roche business planning process: engagement with brand marketeers and brand-aligned functions to work on strategies and tactics which pin point the exact element of the healthcare system which needs to be leveraged.
You will develop high quality market access tools and resources which resonate with sub national payers.
Integrated Franchise approach
You will be expected to work collaboratively within the Market Access Directorate and cross-functionally to ensure local market access teams are equipped with tools and materials and trained and supported on relevant Brand(s). You will be expected to represent the sub national market access function through the an integrated approach and for Market Access Directorate informally and/or formally.
You’ll develop your own projects and be accountable for managing the budget assigned to them by prioritizing and focusing resource on the most important elements. Working with the Integrated Franchise Team(s) and commercial teams to ensure sufficient budget and coordinate budget management.

· A passion and excellent understanding for the NHS and patient access
· A customer focused approach to delivering results
· Field or other healthcare experience
· Networking, and influencing capabilities
· Experience in presenting, negotiating and project management
· ABPI qualified (preferable)
