The purpose of the Surgical Sales Account Manager/Cataract Procedure Manager role is to obtain the maximum sales in accordance with established sales targets through promotion of an agreed portfolio. The territory covers the Manchester area and is a mobile, field-sales position.
•Develop new business with customers in order to achieve safe and effective use of products and achieve sales targets
•Maintain and optimise existing relationships with key customers
•Promote and drive utilisation of appropriate products to all existing and potential customers
•Organise and co-ordinate local meetings on territory, ensuring adequate catering facilities, company literature, samples and relevant audio visual aids are available where necessary
•Work as efficiently and economically as possible, as a professional salesperson

#LI-P Minimum requirements The ideal candidate will have:
•University degree qualification or equivalent in Life Sciences or a related field
•Ophthalmic surgical sales experience with a track record of appropriate achievements – desired
•Proven experience in medical devices and medical capital sales environment
•Experience working with NHS in theatre environment
