Are you a technical author who is looking for a fresh challenge? We have a great opportunity for an experienced individual to join our technology team. You will be responsible for maintaining all technical documentation of our market leading eTMF management technology, PhlexEview 4.

Are you a technical author who is looking for a fresh challenge?  We have a great opportunity for an experienced individual to join our technology team.  You will be responsible for maintaining all technical documentation of our market leading eTMF management technology, PhlexEview 4.

The role:

You will own, produce and manage the production of all technical product literature, for example user guides and work instructions as well as eLearning courses.  You will also support the Sales and Marketing Teams by providing literature which explains the scope, capabilities, function and benefits of Phlexglobal technology product offerings.

A full job description will be provided ahead of interviews but in brief, your role will include:

  • Produce all product related written collateral
  • Produce all eLearning courses and publish these
  • Liaise with the eLearning platform provider to enhance the eLearning platform offerings to our clients
  • Manage the translation of materials into other languages, such as Japanese, as required (translations will be  provided by an expert third party)
  • Manage the production of internal only documentation to define the product in detail such as User Requirement Specifications and product functionality guides
  • Create and maintain sales collateral that support the selling process of our products and services
  • Manage the cross-functional education and implementation for new product launches
  • Provide product / solution demos (when requested)
  • Support with testing the (when requested)

We are looking for individuals who have:

  • Experience of technical writing
  • A solid understanding of software products and development
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • A flexible, proactive, diligent and self-motivated approach to work

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an effective communicator at all levels
  • Have a thorough understanding of the requirements of end-users
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Have proven organisational skills and can build and maintain relationships
  • Experience of the pharmaceutical industry ( desirable)
