Due to company growth, our global outsourcing client is currently in search of an Operations Manager to join their busy office in either Antwerp or Brussels, Belgium.

The main purpose of the role is to take responsibility for providing general & HR related business process supervision for all Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) programs within the EMEA region. It participates in providing strategic plan input and execution that aligns with business expansion and management plans.

Job Role:


The role is also primarily responsible for supporting the BPO program service delivery excellence. The key attribute is as lead HR and Talent Management operations manager and will contribute significantly to ensuring operational effectiveness and service delivery efficiency.
At times this role will partner with Global Solutions, Channel Sales and other personnel on strategic objectives, new business development opportunities and existing service solution extensions. It will contribute inputs and specific market knowledge related to operating KPIs and SLAs. It is both customer and program employee facing and we would like someone with outstanding interpersonal skills and strong personnel management competencies.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the operational & administrative details for service delivery.
  • Implement operations organizational goals & objectives, business growth plans, and operating procedures in coordination with BPO leadership.
  • Monitor program operational effectiveness, and support effecting changes required for improvement.
  • Provide HR consultation and leadership to staff employed in the delivery of BPO programs.
  • Provide day-to-day HR leadership to BPO program personnel as appropriate and needed.
  • Serve as a BPO leadership representative at applicable talent community and business meetings
  • Network, prospect, talent community engagement
  • Support & assist internal functions with the development of work orders
  • Transition current workers into BPO model
  • Support employee relations issues and best practices
  • Support HR needs for onsite delivered work orders
  • Analyse, design, document and implement internal reporting
  • Develop robust internal network across EMEA to support growth
  • Provide wage guidance during work order deal development to support pricing
  • Manage recruiting plans that support BPO program talent needs
  • Provide BPO program talent needs skills to internal and external suppliers
  • Manage talent sourcing alliances
  • Overall responsibility for the on-boarding of all BPO program employees including:
  • Salary Negotiation
  • Letter of Intent
  • Employee Contracts and Execution of Contracts
  • Coordination of hiring activities performed by other personnel
  • Work Permit Coordination
  • New Hire Orientation
  • Set-up of IT Systems
  • Relocation Facilitation
  • Escalation of Payroll related issues
  • Coordination of Employee Performance Reviews

Qualifications:

  • University degree in a Technical, Scientific or Professional Business Administration discipline, however, this is not essential.
  • 5 + years’ experience in a role, managing functional teams in customer service delivery and business process operations with strategic, SLA and P&L responsibilities, preferably in an outsourcing or consulting capacity.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the staffing/workforce solution industry.
  • Broad EMEA experience highly desired but general Europe work experience/expertise preferred.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated success at directing and driving/executing cross-functional initiatives
  • Knowledge of basic broad business process functional principles such as HR management, talent acquisition/recruiting, customer service and financial management
  • Knowledge/appreciation of how to leverage data and technology
  • Experience or working knowledge of quality methodology and process improvement techniques such as Six Sigma or Lean process tools desired
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills
  • Strong people leadership development skills are essential
  • Strong problem-solving skills who can also simplify strategy and tactic into specific executable tasks for making clear & concise business decisions
