Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a market leading Pharmaceutical organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a National Advocacy Manager within the Respiratory market. This exciting role will be working nationally and is predominantly field based on a Maternity Cover basis for between 6-12 months.

We are currently recruiting for a market leading Pharmaceutical organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a National Advocacy Manager within the Respiratory market. This exciting role will be working nationally and is predominantly field based on a Maternity Cover basis for between 6-12 months.

Essential Requirements: 
ABPI qualified with a broad and deep understanding of the implications within this area of advocacy
Ideally previous sales experience having sold in the field of Asthma and COPD would be an advantage
Degree level qualification (or equivalent) with proven ability to connect with clinical data and translate into commercial drivers
Ability to build and maintain long term productive relations with NHS professionals at a clinical and commercial level
Natural curiosity and enquiring mind 
Able to digest complex information at both a business and scientific level and communicate appropriately to the right audience 
Able to project manage multiple projects with varying stakeholders in a timely manner within agreed budgets
Professional use of all Microsoft tools
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Accountable for the promotion and communication of the brand value proposition amongst the identified Opinion Leaders by using clinical expertise of the brand and therapy area to generate advocacy for today and longer term
Accountable for contributing to and segmenting the KOL database to meet the needs of the brand and constructing appropriate development plans/opportunities for identified Opinion Leaders/rising stars 
Act responsibly to drive alignment between the local and national customer needs and support the sales team as required 
Proactively support the transformation of the clinical evidence base for the brand, into compelling and competitive customer focused promotional messaging in an agile manner 
Facilitate productive networking and peer to peer opportunities for identified Opinion Leaders where appropriate 
Support the management of Opinion Leaders involved in / interested in clinical trials / investigator initiated trials or research projects where appropriate and liaison with personnel if required 
Responsible for proactively informing the Business Unit of relevant customer insights and future needs being highlighted by the customer group which may elevate competitiveness / attractiveness of the brand and contribute to the development of the LCM plans
Accountable for the development and implementation of commercial advocacy programmes for this group, in partnership with the relevant head office and field personnel, to strengthen relations within the group, delivering within budget and on time
Develop an effective network across the Business Unit, liaising with the Management Team, Brand Team, and Sales Team when necessary. Work in partnership with the Customer and Events Manager
Maintain high standards of knowledge of the brand and therapy area at all times and keep abreast of current and future competitor products and emerging concepts within the disease area
Actively support and present at appropriate pre-launch, launch and post launch events as required, internally and externally. Play a key role within relevant training programmes within the business unit 
Support the HTA team where necessary to build / maintain a competitive Market Access platform for current and future brands 
Undertake any other reasonable tasks to help ensure that the Business Unit meets its priorities
